For software

Payments inside your software. Not your problem.

Each business on your software gets its own payment account under its own name. Your software asks for payments and hears when they land.

What "under their own name" means

A property manager using your software is the business taking the payment. Not you, and not Flow.

Their account, their money

Each business on your software gets its own Flow account. Payments settle to that account and pay out to that business's bank. Your software never holds anyone's money.

Their name on everything

The pay page, the receipt and the customer's card statement all carry the business's name. Your software can send customers to the pay page or embed the button.

Your software stays in charge

Your software decides what is owed and when. Flow collects it and reports back. Nothing about your product has to change for the money part to work.

How it works, in three steps

Your user presses "Set up payments"

One button in your software opens a Flow account for that business. They answer the questions the law requires and connect their bank, inside Flow, once. Your software gets a key for that account.

Your software asks for a payment

When something is owed, your software sends Flow the amount, a title and your own reference, and gets back a pay link. Show it, email it, or charge a saved method for autopay.

Flow tells your software what happened

Paid, failed, refunded, returned, disputed, paid out: each one arrives at your software as a signed notice with your reference on it, so your screens update themselves.

What Flow takes off your plate

Everything between "the customer owes money" and "the money is in the bank" that is not your product.

  • Verifying each business and its owner, as financial regulations require
  • Collecting and confirming each business's bank account for payouts
  • The pay page, card and bank fields, receipts and the customer sign-in
  • Scheduled and recurring payments, retries and the emails around them
  • Refunds, returned payments and disputes, with the business replying inside Flow
  • Payouts, and the statement that ties every payout to its payments
  • Keeping card and bank numbers off your servers entirely

What stays yours

Your product, your screens, your customer relationship.

  • Deciding what is owed, by whom, and when
  • Your own records: your software keeps its ledger in sync from Flow's notices
  • How payments look inside your product: a link, a button, or a charge with no page at all
  • Your users. They sign up with you; Flow is the money layer underneath

What it costs your software

Nothing to connect

There is no charge to connect your software, no charge per account you open, and no monthly fee. Flow earns its one fee per payment from the business taking the payment, the same price every Flow business pays.

One price, shown to your users

A $1,600 rent by bank costs $9.00 and no bank payment costs more than $15.00; card payments are 3.4% + $0.30, less on large ones. No monthly fee. Your users see this on their payout statement, not buried in your product.

Who can connectFlow is for businesses in the United States. Your software can be anywhere; the businesses taking payments through it need a US bank account and must pass verification. Send us a note about your product and we will walk through it with you.

From invoice to paid.

Create your account, connect your bank, send your first payment link. One price per payment, one deposit, your name on everything. No monthly fee.
