Draft for attorney review. Last updated October 18, 2026.
Flow is a service of Dark Water Ventures, Inc. ("Dark Water", "we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.
Flow lets a business ("merchant") request and accept card and bank payments from its customers, issue refunds and receive payouts to its bank account. Dark Water is a technology provider and is not a bank or a money transmitter.
Payment processing services for merchants on Flow are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service. By agreeing to these terms or continuing to operate as a merchant on Flow, you agree to be bound by those agreements, as they may be modified from time to time. As a condition of Flow enabling payment processing, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize Dark Water to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services.
The Flow fee is shown on the pricing page and in your account, and is deducted from each successful payment. Network processing costs are deducted from each payment. Fees on refunded amounts are returned as described in your account.
You will only accept payments for lawful goods and services you actually provide, keep your account details accurate, respond to disputes on time, and keep your sign-in details and API keys private.
You are responsible for refunds, returned bank payments and disputes on payments you accept, and for any negative balance they create.
We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, creates unusual risk or is required to be closed by law or by the payment networks. You may close your account at any time.
Flow is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Dark Water is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability is limited to the Flow fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
